The line up for this year’s Hospitality Summit has been announced, featuring award winning pastry chef Anna Polyviou as the keynote speaker at Hospo Hui.

Hospitality Summit is a one stop shop for all things hospo; showcasing an expansive tradeshow, panel discussions and seminars, conference, championships, fine dining, and networking opportunities all under one roof.

Hosted by The Restaurant Association and NZChefs, Hospitality Summit ‘22, Te Tihi o Manaakitanga ‘22, is promoted as ‘a hybrid multi-day event designed for industry to connect, innovate, showcase, and compete.’

Visitors will  hear from industry leaders, watch emerging talent battle it out on stage and learn masterclass trade secrets.

Scheduled for September 18 – 20, the summit incorporates eight key events, that focus on creating pathways to strengthen the sector and provide a more sustainable hospitality workforce.

Hospitality Summit events include:

  • Hospo Hui features two days of thought-provoking sessions that aim to educate and inspire. The event will culminate in the highly anticipated return of the hugely popular Feast. This three-course fine dining experience will showcase emerging talent supported by legends of the culinary scene, acknowledge hospitality greats and tantalise the taste buds.
  • XPO Connect’s 140+ exhibition booth spaces will showcase top-tier products and services for the hospitality, accommodation, and tourism industry.
  • In the NZ Hospitality Championships emerging and experienced talent will tout their skills and creativity in front of judges, in what was formerly known as the NZ Culinary Fare.
  • Seminar HQ offers visitors an opportunity to upskill through bite-sized masterclasses from an array of speakers, themes, and demos across the three days.
  • This year’s Hospitality Summit introduces a new beast to the culinary scene. Pitmasters BBQ Battle is a two-day event, where home cooks are invited to go head-to-head and battle it out amongst the industry’s leading grill masters.

Appearing at the event will be award winning pastry chef Anna Polyviou as keynote speaker.
