Chairman of the Destination Queenstown (DQ) Board, Mark Quickfall, announced his retirement from the position on the Board and as Chair at the March meeting (Tuesday 31 March). The DQ Board accepted his resignation and elected Matt Hollyer as the new Chairperson.
Mark has served on the DQ Board for seven years and as Chair on three occasions. The Board and team at DQ say they would like to thank Mark for the dedication and experience that he has brought to the organisation over the years.
Matt Hollyer has lived in Queenstown for the past 19 years working in a range of roles in the tourism and hospitality industry including management roles at Tourism Holdings Limited and has been the General Manager at Shotover Canyon Swing since 2005. He was elected onto the DQ Board at the AGM in September 2013.
