Pop the cork! Moët & Chandon returns to the ASB Classic

The renowned Moët & Chandon Champagne Lounge is set to return to the ASB Classic for the 2018 tournament bringing with it champagne, classic style and sophistication. The luxury champagne brand has released details of the exciting new Moët-inspired experiences heading to the lounge for tournament attendees to enjoy.

Based in the heart of the off-court action, the elegant Moët & Chandon Lounge will be the perfect spot to watch favourite tennis stars while enjoying chilled flutes of champagne, delicious dishes from a menu inspired by The Sugar Club and games of mini Moët Air Tennis.

“The Moët & Chandon Lounge has become a fan favourite at the ASB Classic, we are always excited to come back every year and get creative on how we can make things bigger and better each time,” says Ali Campbell, Senior Brand Manager of Moët & Chandon. “For 2018, alongside a completely new fit out of the Lounge, we will also be introducing a second interactive champagne bar within The Serve area and a number of Moët-inspired experiences for tennis goers to enjoy throughout the two-week tournament.”

Moët & Chandon is introducing the Happy Moët Hour that will take place at the semi-finals of both the women’s and men’s tournaments. During the Happy Moët Hour, the resident Moët DJ will be getting the party started with an entertaining music set as guests indulge in a special Moët Mini and Popcorn offering while getting competitive with a few games of Moët Air Tennis.

Returning to the ASB Classic is the glamourous Moët Ice Brunch, which will be taking place the morning of the Men’s Finals. Here guests can start the day in style as they enjoy a fresh, summer menu designed to perfectly complement Moët Ice within the Moët & Chandon Lounge before heading to centre court to watch the match. With Moët Ice being the drink of the summer, the event will have a chic all-white theme, so all attendees will be encouraged to don their best tennis whites for a day of champagne, fine food and great tennis.

“Last year The Moët Ice Lunch was a highlight on the ASB Classic calendar, so we are thrilled to be able bring it back this year in the new brunch format. It is the perfect way to celebrate the end of two weeks of exceptional tennis.” says Campbell.

The Moët & Chandon Champagne Lounge will feature a bespoke menu designed by celebrity chef Peter Gordon and will include dishes such as miso-baked aubergine, seared venison and salmon bruschetta. “I’m truly excited to have the opportunity to work with Moët & Chandon at the ASB Classic, designing a bespoke menu inspired by The Sugar Club for the luxury Champagne Lounge. I’ve sourced the finest local produce and will be serving it in a number of inventive summer dishes, all of which are packed full of flavour and textures. My menus will complement the fabulous range of Moët & Chandon Champagnes which people will be enjoying during their time at the tennis.”
