Hilton opens 100th hotel in greater China

Hilton Group  has opened Hilton Quanzhou Riverside, the worldwide hospitality group’s 100th hotel in Greater China. The 25-storey, 296-room riverfront hotel, is also the first Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in Fujian and the brand’s 40th in Greater China.

The property’s guestrooms each span at least 430 sq. ft. In-room amenities include WiFi and LCD televisions. Guests who stay in executive rooms and suites will also have access to the Executive Lounge—which offers 180-degree views, complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea and happy hour drinks. The hotel has a heated indoor pool with an underwater sound system. Also available at the property are steam rooms and a 24-hour fitness centre.

The hotel has more than 31,645 sq. ft. of meeting and banquet space. Equipped with audio-visual technology, these spaces include a Grand Ballroom, a banquet foyer, a VIP room, a boardroom, two Bridal Rooms and seven meeting rooms.

F&B concepts at the hotel include Kitchencraft, an all-day dining restaurant; Gu Xiang, a Chinese restaurant that takes inspiration from its name, which means hometown; and The Horizon, a place with snacks and a variety of Chinese tea.

Quanzhou is the Fujian Province’s largest metropolitan area, and the hotel itself is located in the city’s business district. It is also in close proximity to the Quanzhou Jinjiang International Airport and Quanzhou Railway Station.
