New Adults Only Beach Club opens at Sofitel Fiji

SofitelA new exclusive adult’s only area – Waitui Beach Club with its own pool, champagne bar, poolside cabanas and restaurant – opened last week at Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa.

One of the first adult’s only beach clubs in Fiji, within the existing Sofitel resort, the club provides guests with a range of health and wellness options to indulge in. Welcomed to the beach club by their own personalised butler, guests will have everything they could ever need, receiving a daily essentials kit of water, sunscreen, body mist and a cold towel when entering the club.

During the day, dedicated poolside seating and a large range of nutritionally well-balanced dishes, put together by Sydney nutritionist Lucinda Zammit, are available. For those wanting to keep up their fitness while away, complimentary yoga, stretching and boot camp classes will run every morning and afternoon; with personal training sessions available on request**.

By night, guests can relax with a complimentary sunset drink at the club before the mood changes. Regular live entertainment from the club’s resident DJ will provide a vibrant atmosphere where adults can enjoy drinks from the champagne bar together with a selection of sharing plates.

Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa General Manager Alan Burrows said: “The couples and singles market are on the rise and we’re delighted to open this standalone, specifically designed new facility for adults of all ages.  We hope to appeal to singles travelling with friends, solo travellers, honeymooners or any couple escaping on a short break to the Pacific Islands.”

Other features available to guests of the club include a private, dedicated check-in area, a 25m lap pool, state-of-the-art gymnasium and enhanced room amenities. The club will also be closely aligned to the resort’s So Spa facility, offering an exclusive selection of personally tailored treatments and beauty regimes.

The Waitui Beach Club (Waitui meaning ‘Salt Water’ in Fijian), represents an investment of FJ$3.2 million. The club, accompanied by the introduction of a new accommodation category consisting of 74 Beach Club rooms, completes the beach club concept.

Guests who book the Beach Club rooms will have immediate access to all the facilities located within and connected to the Waitui Beach Club. Complimentary entry to the Beach Club is also available to anyone booking to stay in one of the resort’s 10 indulgent suites (including the Presidential Suites).
