rsz_grand_mercure_the_sebel_twin_waters_poolAccorHotels will rebrand its Grand Mercure Apartments Twin Waters in Queensland to The Sebel Twin Waters, effective this week.

Chief Operating Officer AccorHotels Pacific, Simon McGrath said, “The Sebel brand is a recognised name in the leisure space, a market that the Sunshine Coast is famous for attracting. We saw an opportunity to further revitalise and leverage The Sebel brand’s presence in this destination, and as such are excited to rename and introduce The Sebel Twin Waters.’’

Following this announcement, AccorHotels Sunshine Coast network is now comprised of four upscale hotels wearing The Sebel badge – The Sebel Twin Waters, The Sebel Noosa, The Sebel Maroochydore and The Sebel Pelican Waters Golf Resort & Spa in Caloundra. In addition, AccorHotels operates a fifth Sunshine Coast hotel in its mid-scale accommodation category, the iconic Novotel Twin Waters Resort.

The Sebel Twin Waters is a collection of individually styled beach houses and apartments located just minutes from the Sunshine Coast airport, Mudjimba Beach and the Maroochy River. Guests will be able to choose between spacious one, two and three bedroom apartments that sleep two, four and six guests respectively. Generous two-level, three and four-bedroom beach houses that sleep up to eight people are also available for larger groups.

An exclusive gated community, The Sebel Twin Waters offers three swimming pools with BBQ facilities, plus bicycle, walking and jogging tracks that wind around a central swimming lagoon.

Guests staying at The Sebel Twin Waters will continue to have access to all the facilities on offer at the adjoining Novotel Twin Waters Resort, with daily room servicing available upon request as part of its broader hotel offering.
