Crowne Plaza Auckland’s award-winning Aria Restaurant & Bar is inviting diners to embark on a festive culinary journey to celebrate the 2016 holiday season. Friends, family and colleagues can enjoy a special Christmas lunch at the restaurant from November 14 until December 21, with six Christmas-themed menus from around the world on offer. The menus on offer include Pacific, Italian, Bengali, American Grill, Portuguese and East Asian delicacies to tantalise the taste buds, with a different ‘theme’ each day. While the menus have strong international flavours, some things remain the same with all the festive ‘trimmings’ on offer daily, including Christmas crackers, mince tarts, a ham carvery and traditional condiments.

Executive Chef Adrian Walker says the menus have been designed to offer “something for everyone” this Christmas.

“They’re perfect for local businesses and groups looking to get their teams in the Christmas spirit, with a relaxed style of dining that’s very popular,” he says. “The range of global cuisines will please a variety of palates.

A selection of global favourites include taro leaf-wrapped fish of the day with coconut sauce (Pacific), four onion and parmesan rice and lentil risotto (Italian), Bengali Chirer Pulao (Bengali), Boston crème pie (American Grill), Portuguese spiced chicken (Portuguese) and Nasi Goreng (East Asian).
