Australia’s leading beer haunt to call Sydney home

rsz_beer_de_luxeSydney’s beer lovers were raising a glass in December as major beer haunt Beer DeLuxe took over the harbour city’s prestigious Kings Wharf.

Replacing the old La Cita Bar in Lime Street, Beer DeLuxe saw a complete renovation of the existing space, transforming the venue into a diverse, multi-story waterfront bar to complement one of the largest beer offerings in Sydney.

With an impressive beer menu, affectionately dubbed The Beer Bible, featuring more than 150 different brews that change weekly, Beer DeLuxe takes consumers on a palatable journey of beer. With a dedicated and highly knowledgeable team who can articulate the difference between a Trappist brew and a sour, you can perfectly pair food with your drink of choice, and teach the average consumer the distinct characteristics found in any liquidgold that lands in the glass.

Discover Indian Pale Ales, Scotch Ales, Porters, Stouts, American Strong Ales, Lagers, Weizenbock and Belgian Style beers all while enjoying some of the most enviable views in town.

The renowned venue adopts a back to basics approach – great beer, a hand picked wine list and contemporary tapas – designed to be eaten with one hand while holding a pint in the other.

The Beer DeLuxe brand is known for unearthing emerging local breweries, importing never before tasted international beers and bringing together limited edition, award-winning beer collaborations and exclusive events such as Craft Beer Festival, Good Beer Week and many more all under the one roof.

Owned and operated by the young and energetic Armada Hospitality Group, Beer DeLuxe is known for its casual yet contemporary approach to dining and drinking, specialising in beer food, a spin on traditional tapas, pioneering beer trends, and introducing new beers and exclusive brews to the Australian beer market.

“Our patrons love great beer. They’re the type of person that looks for something that is unique and cannot be purchased just anywhere. Sydney already has such a strong and innovative beer industry, our aim to complement the existing industry and provide patrons with something surprisingly different every time they visit,” said Craig Shearer, Founder of Armada Hospitality Group.

“We’re passionate about great beer. We’re thrilled to be bringing some of the world’s finest to the people of Sydney within a world-class venue that complements the amazing harbour backdrop.”
