What is Chomp digital food safety?

Chomp is a simple to use, tablet based app.   Your kitchen will be guided by Chomp to complete daily, weekly, monthly and even yearly  food control tasks.   Meat and poultry temperature checks, received goods, thermometer calibration, fridge/freezer temperatures and staff food safety training are all covered by Chomp.

What about audit day?

All the recording requirements of Simple Safe and Suitable and the original Serve Safe Food Control Plan (FCP) are covered by Chomp. The Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) accepts digital as a valid form of food control recording.

What are some of the other benefits?

Your records are securely Cloud stored for the mandatory four years required by the Food Act 2014.  Records are held together in one place which can be easily accessed from anywhere through your Chomp log in. Your entire kitchen team can take responsibility for their own tasks and at a glance, everyone can see if your compliance recording is up to date.

How quickly can I move to digital? 

Today! What do I need to start using Chomp?

Very little!  A tablet and wifi are all you need.  Chomp provides plan loading and training.
