Jet Park Hotel appoints new GM

Jet Park Hotel Group has appointed seasoned hotelier Richard Gamlin as Group General Manager.

Gamlin has managed hotels overseas in the Philippines, Thailand, China, and Vietnam and is thrilled to be back home in New Zealand, where he began his career as a Chef in the Royal NZ Airforce.

Richard, who brings more than 24 years’ worth of hospitality experience, says, “I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to work with Liz Herrmann and this amazing team and be able to join Jet Park Hotels at this very exciting time for the group”.

Liz Herrmann, owner of the Jet Park Hotels Group said of the appointment: “We are delighted to have Richard at the helm of the group, where his leadership skills will bring the hotel into a new and exciting chapter.”

The Jet Park Hotel Auckland Airport re-opened on September 30 following a major hotel refurbishment. The hotel has invested in comprehensive and transformative renovations that provides guests the ability to enjoy the highest levels of comfort and tranquil spaces and will continue to meet the needs of both business and leisure travellers.
