Stamford Hotels and Resorts have completed a refurbishment of its Executive and Suite Accommodation at Stamford Plaza Auckland.
The most extensive refurbishment in the 28-year history of the property, it has allowed Stamford Plaza Auckland to further its commitment to environmental initiatives with energy efficient lighting and water saving devices in all rooms and suites.
With a brief to highlight bespoke room layouts from the 36sqm Executive Room to the largest 155sqm Governors Suite with city views, the interior designer sought to create an elegant style with a theme of subtle sophistication.
The refurbishment offers a focus on enhanced facilities for both business and leisure guests, and the new rooms incorporate environmentally conscious facilities and improved entertainment interfaced with the latest technology. These inclusions came after research from corporate clients that the most important thing for business travellers is to feel like their rooms are an extension of their mobile office.
All rooms now boast new wall coverings, carpets, blinds and curtains, upgraded bathrooms, and plush new King sized beds with luxurious linens and bespoke furniture through out. New 40” wall mounted LED televisions have the latest IP-based interactive technology and green technology for energy efficiency, whilst smart sensor lighting, smart phone connectivity and free Wi-Fi all come standard.
