The graceful pas de deux between Nautilus Estate of Marlborough and the Royal New Zealand Ballet continues to flourish. Five years after their initial association, Managing Director of Nautilus Estate, Clive Weston has confirmed that the partnership between the two brands has been extended once more.

Weston says: “The most recent performances of A Midsummer Night’s Dream have yet again proved the outstanding calibre of the RNZB and its dancers. Nautilus Estate is proud to be associated with such an elite company. We are very happy to be there raising a glass, celebrating their successes and saying thanks for their contribution to the arts.”

Nautilus Estate will also continue to partner with dancer Abigail Boyle as part of the agreement.  Boyle has excelled in many lead roles in classical and contemporary works including Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty, Myrtha, Queen of the Willis in Giselle, and Odette/Odile in Swan Lake. Over almost a decade with the RNZB she has worked with noted international choreographers, most recently creating the role of Helena in Liam Scarlett’s acclaimed new production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Amanda Skoog, Managing Director of the Royal New Zealand Ballet, says: “We are thrilled Nautilus is continuing their partnership with us as we believe we are a perfect match – outstanding creative New Zealand companies consistently delivering to the highest standard. And what’s more there is no better way to complete an evening with the RNZB than by enjoying a glass of superb Nautilus wine.”
